Melissa discusses the Together With Veterans initiative, suicide prevention strategies, and how the QPR (Question, Persuade, Refer) training can help save lives. Listeners will hear about upcoming events like the November 19th QPR training at Valley View Farm and December’s Coffee with Veterans at the VFW. The conversation also touches on stigma-breaking outreach efforts, crisis resources, and how we can all do more to meet people where they are, especially our veterans and those facing homelessness.
